IYASE: Scholarship for Assessment for Certification

Requirements

IYASE will award two scholarships annually of up to $500.00 each to assist and support members with the expense of travel to assessments for certification. The requirements are as follows:

current member in good standing of IYASE
IYNAUS acceptance of application for assessment
confirmation letter indicating acceptance for year applying and venue assigned
financial need
dedication to the practice of Iyengar yoga
not a current board member/relative of IYASE Board member
must be willing to contribute to IYASE, e.g. write an article for the newsletter

The deadline for applications is July 1st of the year of the applicant's assessment. The award will be made by July 15th of that year. Please promptly let us know if your testing date is near the IYASE application deadline and if you need us to consider your application sooner.
